New Case Study - Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy

Posted by Adam Chester on 27/08/2014 at 14:16

Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy have completed a case study explaining why they switched to Prodeceo for managing their learners.

Prodeceo replaced an internally managed Moodle install which instructors and learners found difficult to use.

You can read the case study here.

Prodeceo API now live!

Posted by Adam Chester on 19/08/2014 at 19:50

We are pleased to announce that our new application programming interface API is now available to everyone.

For the non technical among you, an API enables you to link Prodeceo with other applications. The most common example would be connecting to a HR database so that new starters have Prodeceo accounts created automatically.

The API is free to use, and you can find some advice and examples in the API section of the help centre by clicking here.

If you'd rather we took care of the plumbing between your application and Prodeceo then we would be more than happy to discuss this with you.

Email Timeline for Instructor Led Courses

Prodeceo makes managing training sessions easier by handling some of the admin for you. Prodeceo sends out registration emails and reminders in addition to letting the trainer know who to expect for each session.

The timeline below shows which emails are sent to attendees and trainers.

Automated email timeline.

You can customise all of the emails that Prodeceo sends, and also attach pre-course materials so that all of you attendees can receive the right information.

Time for a new LMS?

Posted by Adam Chester on 30/06/2014 at 17:23

Are your learners disengaged with your LMS? Have you encountered the same error for 100th time? Do you need a hug from an LMS that cares? Then it might just be time to consider a new learning management system.

There are lots of great reasons to switch to a new LMS. New features like mobile compatibility or better reporting are common business needs. On the other hand perhaps your LMS hasn't seen an update in a while and the bugs are becoming frustrating.

If I was drawing up a wish list for an LMS, it would:

  • Be easy to use. For the learners and the instructors.
  • Be cloud based. No IT department needed, and available anywhere in the world.
  • Encourage blended learning. Use the most appropriate medium for each activity.

Fortunately I am able to work on implementing my wish list every day as we develop Prodeceo. We take suggestions from people using the platform everyday and incorporate them to make the LMS better for everyone. If you have a wish list for your perfect LMS- we might already have built it!
